Personal Information is information about you that identifies you as an individual, for example, your name, address, e-mail address, or telephone number.
We collect the following information about you:
- The name or the nickname you enter before starting a game. The name is visible to the other players playing at your table.
There is no requirement for the name you enter to match your actual first name. You are given the option to update it when you start a new game.
- A randomly generated unique ID.
To maintain an active session through network changes and interruptions while you are in a game, a unique ID is generated and assigned to you the first time you join a game.
- The player's selected avatar, if any.
- Optionally, a player may opt to sign in with their e-mail address in order to track their progress in terms of experience points and player level. Otherwise one can play casually as a guest without signing in. The user's e-mail address is only used for user authentication and identification on the servers. It will not be accessible by other players nor will be shared with any third parties.
- The device type and platform
General information about the type of the device, e.g. iphone, android, windows desktop, and the platform, e.g. web, ios, android, are collected and used in aggregate form for analytical purposes in order to improve user experiece.
The above information, as well as the player statistics needed for the game operation are stored in a secure database. As required by Google Play, We will soon provide a link for players who wish to delete their account.
User authentication, for signed-in users, and associated operations such as e-mail verification and password reset, are performed independently by an industry standard authentication service.
Apart from the random ID, the nickname, and, in case of registered users, the e-mail address, which are shared with the server, the following customization settings are stored on the user's browser local storage. These settings are not shared with the server:
- Your preferred language for the UI and the messages.
- Your preference to show/hide tips.
- Your preference to enable/disable sound effects.
You can limit the storage of this data on your browser by using your browser's private browsing mode or by clearing the site data from your browser after the game.
Lastly, as with most Web sites, we automatically gather general information about your computer such as your browser type, referring/exit pages, and operating system for analytical purposes.
We do not use any cookies.
The general information about your computer such as your IP address and browser type are used in aggregate form to help us understand and improve user engagement.
We will not disclose personal information that you provide on our Site to any third parties except:
i) in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy, or
ii) to comply with legal requirements such as a law, regulation, warrant, subpoena, or court order, and/or
